Manage Your Account

From you Account tab, you can update your account profile and change your password. Your profile consists of several different types of information:

• Personal contact and billing information is at the top of the page. Notice that this address is your billing address and could be different than your service location address.
• Service marketing and merchandizing information allows you to better distinguish your self in the marketplace. Add a photo and bio as well as a keyword description of your service to attract more clients, more often.
• Web Wide networking is important to a comprehensive Web marketing strategy. You can also include a website on your profile, but please link responsibly. You can only point to your personal websites or blogs that further highlights or markets the service that you have posted on self book it. Undermining the self book it community marketplace is grounds for removal.
• Sector declaration is one of the most important pieces of information on this page. New accounts are defaulted to DEMO mode. This allows you to get accustomed to the system before launching into the marketplace.  Choose a sector from the drop down list. If your sector is not listed, yet, contact self book it for it to be added. Once you have chosen a sector, your services are launched into the marketplace for clients to book and you are listed in the service directory.

Privacy and security are important. Never share your password with anyone else and always logout and close your browser window when you are not using your account. If you think your password has been compromised, you can change it using the Password tab. Choose a password that is at least 6 characters long and click 'edit account'. You will be automatically logged out and need to use your new password to log back in.
