History

Quality of Touch.com, Inc was founded in Austin, Texas in 2003 to research and develop IT and business solutions for service providers and their clients. Growth in Internet usage solidified a stage for Quality of Touch's product pipeline. In 2006, Quality of Touch began branding its centralized marketplace for appointment-based services under the d.b.a, Self Book It. The company continues to deepen its understanding of service community needs and to offer them solutions. Read the latest in our News section.   Prior to incorporation, the company's founder and president, Jason Howell, noted that high supply and demand drove the growth of the service economy despite gross marketplace inefficiencies and shockingly high failure rates among service providers. The vision of a more efficient service product marketplace was planted in Austin's IT enriched community. The resulting solutions address the needs of both service consumers and providers; a distinct advantage:
